My eBay accounts are getting linked????
 

I just found out that all of my new eBay accounts are getting linked together!!! I've been doing eBay stealth for 10 years now and have never had this problem. Is there a new criteria that eBay looks at when linking accounts?

are you running all of the accounts on one pc? different user accounts? how are you separating their cookies?

I'm using the same ip pool but they are still different ip addresses. Same phone provider? Created on the same day or around the same time? The way I created the accounts are the same could that be it?

There is some other common denominator that is linking the accounts. It's not just similar IP's alone.

What kind of VCC's or Phone providers are you using? Are you shipping from the same location(s) on all orders?

Often times it's a COMBINATION of things (or factors); not just one thing that will associate accounts together.

My account was just suspended, after selling the first 3 products, im 1000 percent sure it was the problem with the vpn, i had issues with it from day one, i was getting blocked from other websites, and by ebay i would have to confirm capchas every 30 seconds that im not a robot.

I'm using phone.com for my phone numbers but I'm going to switch to tracfone just waiting for my sim card to arrive in the mail. For VCC I'm using actual debit cards usually greendot. I'm not shipping anything because my account sare getting suspended before I can sell anything.

I think it's because you were using VOIP. It's always better to use real phones, less headaches...

You’re using VOIP phone numbers. Use a real sim like T Mobile or Sprint. Just buy the cheapest plan to activate the phone number.

I agree with the above comments.

Lots of times users assume their accounts get suspended because they are "linked" when in fact it's really because they did something like use a VoIP phone # or VPN/proxy when setting up their account or selling for the first time.

DO NOT use these virtual phone services (such as Google Voice) and only use a real phone like a mobile provider like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint.

But the thing is the representative told me my accounts were linked, she even gave me the username to the account it was linked to and it was one of mine. How does the phone number being an issue play into that? I know it's a strike against the account according to the stealth guide but I don't see how it plays into the link.

You have to tell us your entire process for us to figure out how you are getting linked. Ebay isn't doing anything new. It is likely something you were doing all along wrong that you were getting away with.

That's possible. I create my accounts very similar to the stealth guide except I haven't been adding banks just credit cards and I've been using phone.com for phones but according to the stealth guide phone.com works.

Honestly, I have made a lot of mistakes in the past with cutting corners and because of that I feel like maybe my ip pool has been abused. I've been using Verizon tethering forever and even though I always log my ip maybe the ips are too similar plus the Voip phones and not adding a bank account and creating all the accounts on the same day were enough information to link the accounts?

You cannot create accounts "similar" to the stealth guide.

It's either the right or the wrong thing.

You need to do it correctly.
