How to ensure my other ebay accounts will remain open after 1 account got suspended
 

Hi,

I have multiple accounts (Some are in my name or my husbands name)Recently I have tried to open a new account in my own name and I failed the first review and the account was banned.The other accounts remained open (about 2 weeks now). I wonder what should I do to ensure they stay open?

I still keep using same IP, cookies for all other accounts. I believe 1 account might be linked as I told ebay about this account when I tried to vertify the banned account. I have left this account in the same name as the banned account, same address, email etc. I have updated the details against the other accounts and linked them to a different paypal address not in the same name, that was the only one I had.

The paypal account used for the banned account has been now permanently closed but with the reason I have escalated too many cases. I had 1 ebay still linked to it which I unlinked in the hope that will prevent the ebay account to be closed. Was this correct?

What should I do with the other accounts? Should I start using them only using different windows account? New IP addresses? Should I change the name against the accounts so in case they will be closed down the name wont be banned too? (Now my husbands name). Would that still help is my big question.

You are doing the complete OPPOSITE of stealth.

Nobody can answer your queries with a definite answer.

It's all down to whether ebay want to take action or not. If they wanted too for the sake of increasing profits they could just let banned users trade on their site indefinitely and then with a press of a button put all the accounts in to indefinite suspension mode as and when they please.

Thank you for your answer James. My question is does it make sense now to start using a different IP on ebay and paypal plus using it from different Windows user account. Should I now ensure all accounts have different details such as address, phone number etc?

Would it increase my chances not getting linked or does it rather put a red flag on my account and could look suspicious?

I have red the stealth guide but I believe this wasn't covered … sorry if I missed this.

Lol lucky you ebay/PayPal still not closed your accounts, you need to get stleath book and read it

Yes, I would take precautions now. Better late than never. Usually ebays software run sweeps on accounts and I know for a fact they run a sweep when you connect to ebays customer service reps.

Although the link is there if a human looked into your account manually. But changing the details now and following stealth principals may evade any ebay bots. So do it.

I suspect all those accounts are now linked and it's only a matter of time.

You can take a sharp fork right now as James has suggested, but I still would not hold my breath.
Now is a good time to invest in stealth. Get the stealth book and cling to this website.

Yea it's pretty crazy the reps can see what accounts have been linked by the system.
If nothing has happened now, just lay low don't make any scenes and hope the system doesn't link you enough for a suspension

Thank you all for caring. You are amazing.

I have now changed all personal details for all accounts apart from the Name. Now I only need to understand how to work IP burger, diffrent windows account (studying the stealth guide).

Last 2 questions.... will I not draw attention to my myself by ebay / paypal if I now start using a diffrent laptop, change my IP and cookies by using a diffrent windows account? Do you think I should change the name against the accounts too or is this a serious red flag?

Paypal and the accounts have anyway diffrent names now but that needs to stay unfortunately as our paypal account in the same name was already closed 2 days ago due to too many escalations (I escalated because I didnt get my items).

I would be most grateful if you could reply on this too.
