proof of IDENTITY
 

HI guys
i have created an ebay acc recently, and after like 2 days i have listed low risk item which is vintage item, the day after, the acc is suspended, normally this is supposed to be only a verification suspension but the agent asked me to send proof of identity and bank acc statement, well if thats te case then i woud just give up on creating ebay accs, because those documents cost over than 60 dollas.

How can i avoid this kind of identity verification ??

This is a bad time to make nnew accouts

it is usually up to the agent if he asks for id or not.

if they restore the acc the chance is high it will be banned again in 2 days so do not waste the money.

however you can try to call again and again. after someone requests docs if it is optional someone else can unlock it without if he does not check the logs. But can take 5-10 calls so not worth the efford

that's what I was thinking too...bad timing. I've got a couple just opened but not sold or even tried to sell yet..

But, something seems to be going on with ebay...im seeing alot of posts here about accounts suspended but not many that or re-instated or suspended no reason..

alot of responses but not same reasons,,what's the answer?

Best thing to do is to make accounts and just buy on them for 1-2 months before listing the first item. Look like a REAL ebay user not a stealth seller by opening and selling straight away.
