Do you also experience a lot of suspensions for stealth accounts and much lower reinstatement rate?

There's really no difference.
Actually, this season is the best to make a lot of sales, and at the same time, make a lot of accounts :)

Lot of suspensions is not normal. Explain your setup and operations for better analysis if you want.

It depends on why you are getting suspended.

But yes, in general ebay is kinder after the holidays

I have seen a lot of stealth scammers on ebay lately, 0 to 3 feedbacks, listing items and requesting bank transfer only, usually they only last a few hours.


Its so annoying seeing those people, as they are ****ing things up for the stealth that are genuinely trying to sell.

This year from November onwards has been the hardest opening new accounts there’s a couple of other threads on gear stating the same thing You follow the stealth guide to the T and upon listing your first item the account is suspended usually you call in and accounts re-instated but now they just come up with some crap that your account is linked and there’s no appeal sorry.

Same here. 2 long term accounts suspended last week.
2 new accounts suspended in the last 24 hours. (2 from paypal the other 2 from ebay).
I am baffled. Been doing stealth for nearly 4 years now.

They must have found new ways ,technology keeps improving,getting better and better every day.
You know why they ask for photo ids,they use AI to compare photos.
It takes xx,xxx times for AI to learn a cat is a cat,so if it takes xx,xxx times to remember your photo,then it can compare to a later photo you submitted and find out it is not the same person.
