Firstly thank you for some great advice from the people who have been kind enough to respond to my Q's
There are 3 questions to this thread, if you could answer any i would truly appreciate it:

1. Would you contact ebay to try and open an account that was suspended 7 years ago?

2. When opening a stealth account would you use the same pics as the banned account or create new pics ( i heard ebay bots pic up mets data from the jpeg.

3. How soon after opening a new account would you open a private sellers shop?

1. Might not be worth the effort since stealth makes for new account opening quickly

2. Create new pics and strip data using batchpurifier or similar programs.

3. 2-4 weeks of browsing and bidding I'd say

so you would not start selling the same day you open the account? i sell clothing

definitely don't sell the same day you open it

for your 7 year old account, its worth a least a call to try. Just don't get your hopes up

7 Years ago? It won't hurt to call in and see.

But check your email first too though, sometimes accounts are reinstated without people knowing.
