MC011 indefinitely restricted BUT...

Hi guys,

I recently had one of my accounts indefinitely restricted through MC011. During their MC011 investigation they restricted another one of my accounts which was linked (they restricted any new listings but allowed me to continue selling) eventually they set my selling allowance to 0 and removed all my listings. So, today I spoke to Ebay on chat and played the fool and asked why I had been restricted to 0 sales. They then mention I was initially resitricted because of my accounts connection with the MC011 suspended account but "the issue has been resolved" and they have now RAISED my selling allowance to 1000 items and £15k a month?? I was under the impression ALL of my accounts would be restricted?? Should I expect the ban hammer to come down at any moment, how do you guys suggest I move forward?

Just to clarify these two accounts are NOT stealth accounts, they are my personal Ebay accounts with proper information etc.

(Sorry if this post is a little confusing lol)

Cheers

Its hard to guess really. I would be cautious and get something going as a back up as its certainly possible, but as for a time frame, it could be days or months before anything happens.

If it were you, would you try and prevent the inevitable or sell sell sell while you have the opportunity?

I currently have a very low risk item on an auction to test the waters, seems fine for the moment...

I would just carry on selling but also get a few accounts up and running to take over if needed. May need to never used them, but better to have them and not need them than to not have them and need them :)

Ban hammer. But maybe in a year, maybe in a month. Ebay seems to do a purge of linked accounts once a year or so.
