Trying to Sell
 

I had my eBay account suspended in late 2007. Seller non-performance...2 negatives out of 850!

I had a PAYPAL account linked to that eBay ID. My PAYPAL account has remained opened.

I opened as stealth eBay account a year ago using different name, a work address and a yahoo e-mail address. I then added this e-mail address to my current PAYPAL account. On that PAYPAL account my bank account attached to it is no longer valid...I closed that account. I can add a different one at anytime.

I have purchased a few items and have received positive feedback. I want to open up a seller account and I only sell maybe 5-10 items a month.

Can I use my own credit card, bank account or current PAYPAL account as verification. I am assuming NO since the name on the eBay account does not match exactly the one on my PAYPAL, credit card and bank account. Does eBay see all the info on the PAYPAL account or just the e-mail address?

Do I have to create an all new eBay and PAYPAL that somehow match? I am going to purchase the eBay Stealth guide and hope that will help too.

Unfortunately you cannot use that Paypal with a new eBay. It won't be long before eBay would suspend the new account that way. You should purchase the stealth book, read it, and then make a set of new accounts. :cheer:

Thanks lakeman! Looking at Aspkin's recommendations if I can just add a credit card and bank account on the eBay account I should be all set. I just won't link the PAYPAL account. Maybe I can create another PAYPAL account and mirror the info I created on the eBay account.

Never add a bank account to ebay, not worth the risks. Do you know about cookies and flash cookies? They should be cleared before you make your new accounts.
