ebay suspended MC005, please help!!!
 

ebay suspended me for 30 days, the reason is MC005 eBay Account Suspended: Miscategorization of Digitally Delivered Goods.

I got selling restrictions before this couple of weeks ago, they were 3 days and 7 days,but the account was never suspended before this 30-day suspension.

I'm just wondering whether my account will be automatically reinstated after 30 days or I have to provide info and ID to get it back? When I had the selling restrictions, the account went back to be working after the restriction was over. Just wondering whether it will be the same or not. Since this is a stealth account that I created according to "ebay stealth", I'm not able to provide any ID!!! Anybody here can help to reinstate this account? Any advice on this? Any authorized seller here can provide this service?

And also in the email, ebay said any outstanding fees have to be paid right away. Just wondering if I pay for it, will the account be reinstate automatically after 30 days or I still have to provide info in order to verify the account?

I have over 300 positive feedback in this account and the rating is 99.7% and I always pay the sellers fees even before ebay sends me any invoices.

i would think that it will reinstate automatically....if it is just for miscategorization i wouldnt think that they would ask you for id and all of that..definitely pay the fees so that they have no reason NOT to reinstate the account after the 30 days...even if they do ask for id you can make f a k e stuff that corresponds with your stealth account...its easy to alter your stuff with paint and google images and such...

since you are a fellow canadian they cant ask for your ssn...drivers license and other such things they do not have the authorization to check, so just make a f a k e one with paint (obviously make it look real not shotty) and you'll be good to go..

but i honestly don't think they'll ask for all of that...ask ebays live support if you want to be sure...theyll be able to tell you if itll come up automatically or if theyll need additional verification...

they normally give you one or two digital delivery takedowns, before they suspend you..so dont know if you had these first.

Not a serious suspension though, compared to some of the others....

you say they have no authorization to ask canadians for a drivers license ?
They asked me for mine ! Then when I told them I don't have a drivers license , they told me to supply my health card with a photo? Health cards in Canada don't have photos last I checked ! ??

Yes they can ask for your driver's license, but not your SSN.

You misunderstood me. They can ask for government id but they have no authorization to check it so you can alter it easily since it's not like they are going to be able to verify it. Since he has a stealth acct he won't be sending them real id so I just wanted to let him know.

My health card has a picture. Once you turn 16 in Ontario they add a picture. I know a lot of people that have the old ones with no photo but I think the govt is trying to phase those out because of fraud.

It will be reinstated automatically just like the 3 and 7 day ones. The next one will be a year (possibly permanent depending on how severe they think the violation is) so you better be careful what you do
