Re: internal ip address
Yes, the can. Click here to test yours.
But this wouldn't be a problem if you only run one account as they won't be able to link it to any other accounts.
If you run multiple accounts then they will be able to see your internal IP address such as 192.168.0.x across all your accounts.
Whether they do anything about it is another matter, but that wasn't your question anyway.
There're ways around it.
If you use VMs, you can bind each instance to a local IP address so VM 1 would be permanently assigned 192.168.0.2, while VM 2 will have 192.168.0.4, etc.
If you use windows\user, you want to go the software route to block eBay from sniffing your internal IP
You'd need to block something called 'WebRTC' within your browser.
1. Firefox: about :config "media.peerconnection.enabled"
1. Opera: opera:config -> Advanced -->scroll down. Block WebRTC by selecting "Disable non-proxied UDP"
Test it here before and after blocking: https://browserleaks.com/webrtc
