Fingerprinting

do I really need to worry about Browser Fingerprinting ?? I have seen some videos about it and figure out that websites can collect some sensitive data like your CPU, Timezone and some Hardware specifications. If ebay has access to this it can easily identify previously suspended users without the need of IP address and Cookies.

At the risk of sounding like an asshole, if you can't afford to spend $50 on a Chromebook to create at least one account then you're quite to fail in this business. Hell, once COVID-19 subsides you can probably find older, slower computers for less than $20 a piece at your local thrift store.

Then again, the experts are saying you don't need multiple devices and they're probably right. I'm just incredibly anxious and would rather spend $50 on a Chromebook... In the grand scheme of things, paying $50 to mitigate that perceived risk is worth it to me.

Re: Fingerprinting

I'm having real trouble creating new accounts at the moment due to fingerprinting. From what I can tell the issue is creating multiple accounts on the same machine (even if under different user accounts) within a short space of time.

How are people getting around this? Are people having success creating multiple good accounts on the same day / week without fingerprint blocking?

Try using virtualbox if different user accounts doesn't work well for you. ;)
