Reinstating an old account
 

I just found an account that was suspended in 2003 , I logged in & it says "registration blocked" Please click here to make a one time payment.

That is the only reason I was suspended, non payment of fees... Is it worth trying to get it back? If I paid the fees would that be enough to get it reinstated?

I never even had a PP acct attached to it, back then you didnt need all that... Its 300 bucks worth of fees , so I dont want to pay it and then not get it back... I wonder what the odds are...

If you have a spare $300 bucks, donate it to a charity. Here and other places, users are in the same situation. That 'magic account with O/S fees' and the hope of reinstatment after the fees get paid may not be a pot of gold.

ebay happily takes the money. Loves you for it: then does either/or/and

reinstates the account, then suspends it within a month for some generic reason.

takes the money & strings you along for months pretending they will reinstate you.

reinstates sometimes (depending on many factors) but 'flags you.

I know of fewer than 6 users that had accounts back after paying. You would need to consider your options :peace:
