eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - MC198 INI Temporary Selling Restriction

Your selling privileges have been temporarily restricted because of a recent policy violation. You won't be able to list new items for thirty (30) days. You're also not allowed to register a new account during this time.

Please be assured that your account has *not* been suspended. At this time, you still have full account access. You can continue to:

- Send email
- Obtain shipping addresses
- Leave Feedback
- Perform other administrative tasks

Your account will no longer be restricted after 30 days.

However, please be aware that any additional violations of this policy could result in the suspension of your account. Once eBay suspends an account, the member no longer has any account access. In addition, all active listings are canceled, and members who placed bids on those listings are notified.

I'm convinced that I was listing a non VeRO items but somebody report it to Ebay. Well I guess it's the bidder than who didn't respond to my message until I open a case on him. Shame on you :rant:

What can I do? Nothing I guess.

Wait 30 days. Unfortunately. Switch to another account (if there is any) then apply new selling strategy.

The good part is that now you have plenty of time to build more stealth accounts and let them age :)

I've received many MC198 selling restrictions before. First 7 days then 30 days. What comes after that? I'm assuming it's an account suspension but I'm too chicken to find out for sure and I let the account cool down for 3 months.

ebay just gave me a MC198 I sold a item then it got returned and i gave the money back then relisted it. I think its the person i sent it to that did it
