how is this seller still selling?
 

Hi, i noticed a newly opened up ebay account selling 'brand new iphones'. This seller is based in China, and has literally been listing up brand new iphones each day (his listings are at 80 as we speak). Now fair enough if its all legit which i believe it to be, but why hasn't this seller been hit with an MC011 or ban? The accounts been up for at least 2 months, not even past the 90 day mark haha.

Is there a certain thing with Chinese address sellers, as they seem to get away with literally everything?

It’s a fiddle

eBay love the burn and dump method - they know they’ll make good money from one idiot, ban him and another 5 idiots will take he’s place

The process repeats like a cycle

That’s what I can infer, if they wanted to they could block a lot of the “funky” stuff like amazon does proactively

eBay is reactive - they make they’re fees & ban the seller

You may see the 1 that got away with it, but missed the 100 they already banned. Ebay's bots aren't perfect, some slip through the cracks. But most of the time they will eventually get you
