do ebay log our passport numbers?
 
Do you think ebay keeps a log of all ID submitted such as the serial numbers on passports?

I don't think so. I created all my steath account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account holder name, ID, bank statement etc.

if you use your passport as ID,yes,Ebay will save it.
some do no have driver license,but they have passport

Unlike paypal and banks etc they have no regulatory requirements to 'know your customer' so have no legal need to record ID nor to keep it.

So do they? As the poster above said simply assume they do merely for their own security matters.

Having said that Managed Payments will change things quite a lot.

They most likely do, they try to keep as much identifying info as possible
