eBay account suspended and reinstated twice in couple days
My eBay account was registered in January of 2019 with legal name, phone number, house information and everything. I stopped selling on eBay in August of 2019 due to my PayPal account got suspended. And I was told by eBay that I can come back selling after I get invited to managed payment.
I registered my managed payment in July 2020 and active 3 days ago. I have 30 listing remained active over 1 year on eBay (My PayPal was banned so I cant take payments, but eBay account was ok). I updated the listing with new products, and the account was still ok, but after I list 3 new listing, my account was suspended less in 30 minteus.
I called eBay, they just tell me that is just because my eBay account wasn't used for so long and the system trigger the suspension, and they reinstated immediately.
2 days later I went back eBay and listed 5 new products and I got banned again within less than 30 minutes. Then I made 3 calls to different eBay representative, here are the result:
1st call: Representative did some research on why my account was suspended within such short period of time and told me that I'm permanently suspended this time.
2nd call: I immediately made another phone call and was able to get hold of different representative. She asked what I’m planning to sell on eBay and where I get my supplies. She was going to ask me to do public verification also confirmed that I have already verified my public record back in January of 2019 when I initially registered the account. She told me she can reinstate my account, I asked her do you know why my account was suspended 2 times in 2 days? She told me she is going to dig little deeper for me, and came back told me she misinformed me and can’t reinstate my account anymore.
3rd call: Last call I made to suspension team I was requested to do a new public record verification. And I have passed the verification also got my account reinstated.
Now I’m just too scared to list anything on eBay with this reinstated account…
I was planing to just be a buyer on eBay for a while to see how thing goes. Maybe I can close my account and hope I can register new account in the future with no bad record?
Also associated with my legal name, phone number and address I still have another eBay account that is still waiting on managed payment to be active in late September. Any suggestions for me? Thanks! |
