Followed stealth guide. Got banned. Please help?
Hi, I followed the stealth guide to the letter.
I go to list my first item after waiting 2 weeks acting like a newb bidding on basketball cards etc.
What I listed was a dollar store pad lock.
Auction style. 5 days. $0.01 start price. Free shipping.
I emailed ebay and they said the following:
Thanks for your email. I can see clearly that you wanted to know why your account was suspended and that you wanted to appeal its suspension.
Philippe, I have reviewed your account and I found out that it was suspended because the pattern of activities exhibits a risk to eBay and to its community. As eBay is an internet-based business, and its members are our customers, we have to carefully weigh the risks involved with allowing users on our site. From time to time, we find buying, selling or registration patterns, which posts certain risks that no longer justifies a continuing relationship with our platform. When that happens, we suspend these accounts indefinitely, which includes buying and selling.
We have determined that it is in our mutual best interest to part ways. We regret any frustration or inconvenience this matter may cause you.
There is no appeal for this decision. From this point forward, in order to conduct business on the internet, you will have to find a different venue.
Please keep in mind that, if we find associated accounts, they will also be suspended with no chance for appeals. I know this is not the answer you are hoping for, but this is our final decision.

eBay Trust And safety
So here is what I may have done wrong: When trying to list it wanted to validate my phone number. I realized my pay as you go was data only, so the texts ebay were sending me didn’t go through. I hammered the send me text button about 10 times. I finally fixed then issue with my cell phone and completed the listing and almost immediately got banned.
Another thing that happened. I bid on a basketball card and accidentally won the auction, so I emailed the seller to cancel and they did.
I also used IpBurger fresh Ip instead of residential Ip...
I’m looking to see what the communitie’s advice would be here where I may have gone wrong and how I can improve on my next attempt. |
