hi i have posted on the forum before once it 1st got up and running , i was suspended for sumthing small and have now been using my brothers account ok now since jan , all is going well , i got a message from ebay 2day and they have offer me to become a powerseller will this link my old account in any way ? will they check my address , phone number etc and see that it is banned from ebay ? maybe i shud just forget about this ! but it would be good to have and sales would go up as people could trust me even more that i deliver a good service thanks for your help guys chris

I don't think Powerseller checks anything. Just accept and that's it. They don't ask for any info.

anyone else know if i will get connected to my other account if i accept this powerseller status ? thanks

no you wont, but being a powerseller does not mean squat....

I got suspended last year, went over to a plan b account and after a while got offered a new PS award. I took it up and ran with for a while. didn't stop me getting items removed or anything though.

I think it's only a tool to help you look better in the eyes of buyers, I got no sense they vet you closely or anything. you should go for it.

thats funny that happened to me also...my certificate came nearly after 3 weeks I was suspended, but I been a powerseller for nearly 4 months before that.....now you know ebay is doing stupid sheit :rolleyes: :p

it is good, but you are held to a higher regard based on ebays eyes so you are watched closer in my opinion than before. Thats just my opinion thats how those fly by weekers get by so easy selling and ripping off folks cause they dont accept that stupid powerseller certificate in the mail and icon :p

meh, powerseller, im one on ebay. I wanted it to make me look better lol. I use it to my advantage!

and it can be reversed on you Ebay will use it to their advantage back i.e. suspension, banning, etc....:p
