Prescription and over-the-counter drugs policy
 

Hello,

My account got restricted for 3 days excusing "Prescription and over-the-counter drugs policy".

Time to time i got similar restrictions like a few times in a year which i wasn't minding much since among hundreds of products and over thousands of transactions per year only a few items were making me flagged.

Only this time what difference is in the e-mail they have sent they declare next time will be restriction for 7 days. Before they were never saying certain time for the upcoming restriction.

"- A temporary 3-day selling restriction has been placed on your account (starting on the date of this notice), and your other listings will be hidden from search during this period. Listings will automatically be restored and show up in search results after the end of the temporary restriction."

"Listings that don't follow this policy in the future will result in similar actions, including a 7-day restriction on your account. "

I want to know when this restriction rules are reset to default ? Like if i not got this restriction in 6 months or 12 months at all then first restriction for the same reason again will be for 3 days and all the procedure will start again from first level of restriction ?

Nobody here can answer that with 100% certainty. If you insist on selling items that you know will routinely get you suspended, you need to have a fleet of accounts to rotate through. Otherwise enjoy your permanent banning...

There are a lot of reasons people get suspended on ebay and come here, mostly the reasons are unfair and ebay overreacts

However, selling what I suspect to be less than 100% genuine drugs deserves a suspension. If you want to avoid this, stop selling these items

prescription drug is NO NO on EBAY,BUT I have seen some sellers selling them,they wont name it but you see it in the picture

I have sold extendz product before and got this suspension, it was a legal USA sold drug item OTC product, what happens is, china makes ⊗⊗⊗⊗ of it with REAL viagra in it and FDA caught some of it, and now ebay won't let you list it at all. So anyway to your point. It doesn't reset.. it goes

WARNING
3 Day restrict, all items hidden
7 day restrict, all items hidden
30 day suspend, all items hidden.. sometimes they restrict or kill your account on the 3rd before 30 day. Depends how strong the account is. Usually you'll get a MC011 before that happens.


AFAIK it doesn't ever reset, earliest i'd say is 365 days if at all.

Based upon my experience then I agree, it never re-sets. I lost an account last year for a vero issue when a competitor basically registered a load of random generic search words as trademarks and then set about reporting competitors.

No warnings, straight to account suspension. Appeals failed. My last vero issue was in 2015.

Color yourself lucky. I just had some random shampoo branded item i was drop shipping verod for copyright.... that was ended 1 month ago. These companies continue to abuse, If you have a photo id on file, you can challenge all the copyright removals though, those companies will not sue you within the 10 days. Copyright removals from ebay are 99.99% illegal and should be challenged.They would never win over copyright product images.
