MC011 Underage
 

Hey what's up guys.

I am 16 and was using eBay to sell items, I got a MC011 after I got too many cases opened. (Supplier was sending out late)

I am being asked for ID and proof of address to get back selling.

I don't care about my account, its the fact its linked to my familys, and I don't want to stop them from selling.

Obviously I am underage so what would happen if I sent in what they are asking for, would they lift the suspension and close my account?

I just need the other accounts that it has locked due to links, to be back up again!

As per ebay guidelines, you are too young to enter into buyer-seller agreement, it actually defaults to your parents. You're probably best to just let this ride and then let your parents deal with it, if they need to, if you draw more attention to what went on, that's when bad things occur.

Likelihood is that the account is 100% toast, but your parents may be lucky.

Since you say the linked accounts have been locked out, there is a very low chance ebay will reinstate them unfortunately.

Once they are linked and one goes down, the rest topple like domino's.

I have seen cases where family members with same address and ISP,use each other PC to logon to their accounts,they were able to prove they are real persons living under one roof

Good thing is, it’s been 3 months and nothings happened. Quick questions, if you moved to the USA and started a brand new eBay (obviously with new phone, email and PC) would that work?

Thanks for all the help. I heard some people saying that with managed payments, there might be a chance to have a legitimate second shot at a normal account? If you guys could elaborate that would be great since I don’t want to mess it up this time... oh and also, when registering for MP do you need to provide ID? because obviously I’m under 18 I can’t do that. So this could be better for me since PayPal asks for ID so I have to make new accounts regularly!
