Should I Pay Ebay Fees After Being Suspended Indefinitely..
 

In a nutshell, I don't want to pay the ebay fees as I am permanently suspended.
I can not remove the bank account from my PayPal but plan to close my bank. Question is, will PayPal be able to track me and send debt collections etc , as I don't want anything to mess up my credit.
KEY POINTS:
- My PayPal and ebay don't have any details that link me , the only thing that is linked to me is my bank account (which I can't remove from PayPal but plan to close my bank account).
- Amount owed is £500
- The account is done for so I don't care about it.

Any pointers will be helpful. I understand 'I used their services so I should pay' but they banned me for some stupid reason so they were cunning and I will be cunning back.

No one can trace you from your bank account. TBH for £500 they will not even try to find you

To get your info through your bank account they'll need to get a court order to force the bank to reveal the identity of the bank account owner. That in itself will cost a lot more than the amount in question so they wont bother.
Shut down the bank acct and move on.

Did you ever provide real docs to paypal at any point (for example, when they ask for docs at EU LIMIT)??

On accounts that I've provided real info on, many moons ago, I always left my fees unpaid.

Never heard from them.

Forget and move on to next stealth acc. They won't bother you considering low amount in question and troubles they'll have to go through for reimbursement.

They will try to charge your bank account (if you linked it to Paypal and you linked your Paypal to eBay). You can close it and move on :dance:

i have the same thought. my accounts keep getting suspended for reasons they cant say (no appeals, permanent right off the bat, and i didn't even do a single thing on those accounts) but more than happy to take our money. its only around $30cdn and closing my paypal account seems more trouble than it seems and plus the fee are automatically withdrawn.

Ebay has not 'lost' any money - it just didn't get what it thought it would (we have all been there)

they do, they pay for adds on other sites if you use promoted listings. so they actually loose. that's actually one more reason NOT to pay

Hahah thanks guys. I’ve closed my bank account and moved on now. And I’ve never provided anything that links me like documents.
