I am shocked how Permanent suspension can be reinstated :hail: i chat eBay and they reinstated it !! i think Permanent is Permanent and the system will not allow agents to reinstate the account but after that they can do anything :typing:

If you go through the help link to appeal the suspension you may be lucky and get a call back and you can discuss the issues, if you are really luck you may get an Irish rep from Dublin and they are really nice and helpful.

With eBay suspending so many accounts now they will reinstate, whereas before when you were suspended it was permanent and rarely did you get reinstated

It's still a rare occurence. Doesn't happen often.

but do take care of that account, it's not abnormal that it gets suspended again.

What is the Irish rep you mentioned? And is it a sort of roulette where if I keep calling I have a chance of reinstatement?

The Irish reps on both eBay and PayPal are lucky charms. No pun intended

They always give you the help you need. And appear to have the most authority to do so.

I think they are designated certain accounts.

For example my real paypal account that has never been banned, fully verified with fundsnow has a business support line / email. One call, within 2 mins an Irish rep picks up.

But on my stealths its more lik 10 mins and isn't an Irish rep from Dublin.

On ebay as well I regularly speak to Phillipino's ( can just tell by their accent )

Some people say it's dependent on the time you call as well.

You must reach risk / trust&safety department, they have a higher authority, but they don't have a chat support

You can keep trying and hoping - if you have the time to do so. Get other backups going in the meantime

Thank you I know that i am not immune from them, i need to know what is the plan to list items for new accounts they have a robotic thing to suspend accounts if they notice risk activity

if i list 2-4-6-8 first month then 4-8-12-16 second month its ok?

If you try and make contact with help to get reinstated between 4pm and 9pm GMT 11am to 4pm EST from the USA your chances are very high you will get the Irish support, definitely not the Philippines as it past midnight there, worst case you get American support and that is a rarity to talk to them on the phone.

Wouldnt start the account with those - slowly building up a selling history of low risk items

If reinstatement is possible would the US support or Irish support be more in my favor? I got set up with people from asia and they told me there is no appeals possible and they refused to transfer me to someone higher up. Is it a bad idea to keep calling? Besides the time what is the best days to maximize my chances of getting good support?

I've called a few times recently and can't get through to anyone. It says they are shut "Sorry we are closed" after ringing a few times.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or how do you request a call back?

Hey, I know this is pretty old but how do to get through to eBay support? When I call it says their offices are closed due to covid. There used to be a button at the bottom page on eBay that said have a agent call you but now since I'm suspended I notice that is gone now.

Oh does it matter what got me suspended on eBay? Will it lessen my chances of reinstatement? I got suspended 9 months ago for trademark/copyright violations. But the thing is that I was selling a service...a In game service people would pay me to play with them to advance in the game. It took a toll on me because I had lots of buyers but not enough hours in the day, but the money was good. Then one day eBay shut me down.

chat won't help, i had an account that was suspended Indefinetely twice, the second time i chatted since i was on hold for 4 hours and no one answered so, in chat they denied everything and the suspension was final. on the phone the next day i reinstated in 3 minutes.

Yep, I've been told no 15+ times today but I can't connect to them on the phone. Every time it rings the automated system says our offices are closed...contact us through live chat...blah blah blah. Called them multiple times same thing. If I could get through then someone will actually listen and I won't have to type 3 paragraphs and the rep responds in 10 secs and say the decision is final and have a nice day 🤣
