IMPORTANT - Figured out how eBay Linked accounts
 

A bunch of accounts got permanently suspended at about the same exact time. Some years old with plenty of sales and no issues, some brand new, some in between. The only link was one specific blocked buyer(also a competitive seller) in the blocked buyers list.

Why in the world would ebay perm suspend accounts who have this ebayer in their blocked buyers list??????

Edit: The more I think about the seller, the more I am starting to think they are an eBay employee. It makes all too much sense

This question of sharing blocked bidders has been raised many times, it's generally agreed that it has no bearing on linking accounts. That's not to say an insider couldn't put in some effort to take down anyone who blocks any given buyer.

Personally I think it's highly unlikely as many non stealth accounts would be taken down too and that would ring alarm bells when the inevitable complaints and enquiries ensue.

I'm more inclined to think they've linked your accounts through a more logical an meaningful connection.

Seems like you're analyzing an account that isn't your own? "The more I think about the seller"....feels like you're not the seller is what I mean

I was referring to the blocked account, they were a buyer as well as a seller. In fact they were a competitor. All my accounts follow the same methods, the ONLY link between the ones that were suspended was they all had that specific buyer/seller blocked.

They do suspension waves. Likely your accounts just were ready to go.. OR you used the same paypal at some point on them.

These were my babies, never mixed paypals, most were MP. Used with extreme caution. Only link I can find is the blocked member. I have been combing through all past activities and still that is the only link. Of course there is always the possibility I have missed something, but at this point that seems unlikely.

I think blocking the same member can't be the main reason, because several sellers can block same buyer. Maybe there is something you aren't noticing or you are ignoring some leaks. EB is portscanning computers and executing high browser fingerprints techniques.

Whos to say that everyone who blocked him didnt get suspended? How does portscanning work? What would it reveal

You said it, you implied it had been used to LINK accounts and ban them, not merely a (ridiculous) idea that anyone blocking a given buyer gets their selling account banned.

It would be best if you assume your theory is wrong, that way you will find the true culprit for linking and revealing your accounts.
