Listings getting taken down
 

Hi

My listings have been getting taken down from my stealth accounts nonstop lately. I have had listings that have been online for a few months but even those old listings have been recently getting taken down.

I do sell some VERO items and legit items. I’ve never had an issue like this before. I am unable to keep a listing online for more than a few days max.

Has anyone also been coming across this issue in the past few weeks?
Could this also be from another eBay user reporting my listings ? The past listings were all in the same category.
I’m hoping it’s just these few weeks where it will be like this.


This has been my only source of income since I got laid off in the beginning of COVID last year. This issue has been causing me quite a bit of anxiety lately. Could anyone please care to chime in?

They seem to be cleaning up as they roll out MP. I've only had 2 or 3 listings taken down recently but a close associate of mine who dropships with me has had large swaths of his listings removed. eBay seems to do it in a way that will maximize damage to the account. 10 listings gone one day, 5 more gone 2 days later with a 3-day suspension, 7 more gone a few days later with a 7-day suspension.

I feel like the fact that I avoid being "spammy" with my listings has saved me a lot of grief recently.

This is the most I’ve seen eBay take down listings. I hope it’s only temporary

Yep

They did some kind of strong cleaning recently.

it's usually temporary but if you relist them you'll get your account suspended eventually.

If this is your source of income, spread it out and use multiple accounts to sell.

When they get taken down which message do they send you?

VERO messages. No messages indicating that it was reported by other ebay users


How long do you guys think this eBay listing sweep will last?

From your previous experiences how long did these sweeps last?

They never tell you if it was reported or not.

sweeps could last 1-2 weeks.

But once an account is swept, it'll be tagged.
Like I said you relist, the bots will tag you again.
