Ebay MP account permanently suspended with money in
 

Hello, I signed up for the first time managed payments. I sold 2 items which totalled 1.5k. Ebay then permanently suspended my account and I was not able to withdraw the funds which are from MP. I went on live chat, the first time i went on live chat they said I have to wait 45-60 days and it will automatically be deposited. However I went on live chat today, and the rep said I need to submit a complaint with CFFS/the authorities. Does anyone know if they will in fact automatically deposit the money into the bank account after 60 days?

There are conflicting reports on the matter.
Search on the forum and youll find a few other people in your situation. From what I remember it did not end well...

From what I gather and this has happened to me on 2 accounts it all depends on what you’ve been suspended for.

If your suspended due to them not being able to verify your identity & if thats the case then I doubt these twats will release your funds.

If it’s for any other reason then yes your funds will be released after a set amount of day.

How can they not be able to verify his identity?
if he has been approved for MP?
what is CFFS/the authorities. ?

I have no idea how but you can read the forum and there are many cases where accounts are be approved for MP and later down the line 2, 3, 6 and months down the line the account is reviewed and checked and if they find anything fishy with the identity then payments are put on hold.

He has submitted counterfeit ID which as only just been identified by them.

I think they meant to type CSSF.

IMO they will not release the monies, they will simply say 'complain, sue us, take us to court etc' knowing very very few can do so, particularly crooks/stealthers.

Yes , it is correct. The TO wrote in another thread that they sent a stealth ID and these 1500 were the only turnover they made on the account. Obviously the high value items turned on the red flags and the registration details were checked with credit agencies , after they came back as invalid they requested ID which they received and confirmed the invalid details.

In such a case the account is closed without message and the funds will not be released

one important thing by the way:

if you are really hellbent on getting your money then you change your ebay account to your real details. before doing so you refund the buyers. and then you ask the buyers to pay by other means. if they refuse you have the legal right to demand the payment from them or return of the items. an ebay suspension does not mean you are obliged to give out your property for free

Would you recommend I wait 90 days to see if they will release the funds? And why would I need to change my details to my real details. Thanks for the help everyone!

I doubt the money will be released because the identity could not be confirmed. changing the name to real would only be of any good if you intend to recover your money but at first I would refund the buyers ans ask them to repay by paypal , maybe email them first
