Has the MP PURGE started???
 

I have had 5 of my older/larger accounts suspended in the last 48 hours. These are accounts with thousands of feedback and have been under MP since day one. This is the message that i have gotten for all 5.------We have decided to suspend your account for repeated/multiple counterfeit violations.
What you need to do next
Items removed for this policy cannot be relisted. Please ensure that your future listings are for authentic items only. For these items, they should be described accurately and completely, so buyers know that it is an authentic item.

So it's also contradictory. I have been suspended but not permanent. My payments are on hold until my account gets reinstated. I have had dozens of accounts suspended but never in this way. Any thoughts?

were'nt you the guy selling disney dvds years ago and your dad would help you pack and ship? you used to make $500,000 a year (allegedly) what happened?

Never sold Disney dvd's, you got the wrong guy. Also never made 500k. About half that.

There isn't an MP purge but since all 5 accounts are suspended for counterfeit goods, it's exactly just that.

Frankly I'm surprised that it's a limited suspension because after 2-3 strikes usually they just suspend you for good.

Did they give you a time frame on when the account can be used again?

You'll sometimes get banned for selling phake shiit. Sorry to hear of your luck.

Just spoke to ebay rep. It's permanent suspension. Money that is stuck in the account will be available within 60-72 days. And yeah i get plenty of accounts suspended for counterfeit goods but never in this way. 5 accounts in 2 days. And the funny thing is i hadn't listed anything new or anything risky recently. But yes all these stores probably had over 20 strikes each over the years. Newer accounts will be suspended after 3 strikes but stores like these with thousands of feedback and 3 years in sales can survive many more in my experience. I feel something may have changed in policy.

I understand that what i sell will get me suspended sooner or later. Even my most solid stores will get suspended eventually, but these suspensions are very rapid fire. Weird.

If there wasnt so much money in ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods lesson would be learned. So no lesson not learned. Just adapt and continue on.
