Can I use my Brothers eBay at the same IP?
 

Hey Aspkin,

This is my first post and I hope I can get some feedback from you guys. So essentially, my account got banned for violating eBay TOS. I sell decanted fragrances on there which are technically against the rules even though some guys have over 5k reviews while doing it. I believe the reason that I personally was banned was because I was putting up listings for the same fragrances after they were taken down.

Anyways that’s irrelevant to my question. My brother has an eBay account that he hasn’t used for a couple years. He created it at the same IP that I sold all my stuff at. If I went on his account and started slowly selling on it would it get immediately banned as well? The end goal is to start selling decants once again but in a much more careful and less lackadaisical manner. Thankyou for any advice you guys may offer me. I hope this post is within community guidelines as I just made my account minutes before this post. Thankyou for all the information I have already learned from the other threads!

Get a new internet provider - surely?

New IP - but if you are selling the same product what are you expecting?

Thanks for the input. To be honest I’m not really sure man. I have buddies who have successfully sold the same items on eBay for years on the original account. It seems the downfall was primarily in reposting items that had been previously taken down. So I will follow that path.

Use that same IP and the second acct will be suspended as well.
Just switch the IP address - its simple to do and you can find instructions on how to do so online.

you will put your account in risk at anyway , better to get all fresh , IP , PC , you can try use remote desktop (RDP) but not for creation , just manage the acc there , serch about many info at the forum
