Ebay account suspended, will LLC + business account work?
 

My account that I sell on (mostly electronics, and about 50-100 sales a year) was suspended because it was linked to a very old buying account I created that I haven't used in over a year. Ebay suspended the buying account for abusing buyer policies (Idk what that means...I didn't file excessive returns, inr claims, etc.). Ebay also suspended the selling account because they are linked.

I have called and spoken to probably everyone at eBay and they all gave the same message: the suspension is final and cannot be appealed, and we cannot provide you with information on why you were suspended so we don't enable you to circumvent your suspension.

So, i rarely buy off eBay, but I do sell. If I create an LLC with a business name, EIN, and rent a mailbox, will I be suspended? I would use a different IP address, different physical address, different device, I would use a business name (not my real name), a new business bank account, and an EIN (assuming my SSN has been backlisted as well).

Does anyone have any experience with this? Will eBay still force me to share my name and SSN?

Okay thanks for the info. About the IP address, I plan to just start out on a new mobile phone and use cellular data and hotspot for my laptop. I have cleared cookies as well. Is this enough? Should I use a browser I've never used before (such as Firefox)?

Right on - plus clearing cookies can also lead to having log-in issues with more identification needed

And who told you that they are connected? The first is the buyer's account, the second is the seller's account? Officially, ebay does not bother to have multiple accounts. If this does not lead to bypassing their limits.
