eBay account suspended about an hour after creation
 

Lately, I’ve been having an issue with creating an ebay account. I am creating business accounts, and get high limits ($500k) each time but within an hour they get suspended. Even without listing an item. I am not new to stealth, so I am following all protocols. I am almost certain it’s MP that is linking me as I am using my SSN/DOB… don’t see any other way around it for tax purposes. At a loss here. Never had trouble in the past.

Oh, one thing I did notice that’s odd is with these accounts it always triggers a “we were unable to verify your identity” after creating the account and then I contact them and they unlock the account. Should I try my same protocols with random Ssn/dob?

Not a lot of information to work with here so... Are you trying to open with legit corporate information? Just a nugget for everyone here. Just a nugget, the IRS takes about a month to update EIN records so if you are trying to add an EIN that is less than 4 weeks old to Ebay/Paypal/Amazon or any other marketplace or processor the initial verification of your corporate status is going to fail. So if you are trying to register with legit LLC/Inc info make sure your EIN is at least 4 weeks old or it could cause an issue.
