Buyer account suspended
 

Hello aspkin forum!

My first post here because I'm looking for help but not with a seller account. I'm a reseller and I purchase a high volume of orders off eBay to sell on other marketplaces. I typically buy 50-100 orders a day. This has resulted in 2 accounts getting permanently banned. When I contacted eBay support they said all they can tell me is that it's a buying violation but no further details. I asked if there was a limit to how many products I can buy, as I always buy now and pay for my items and have good feedback. They said there's no limit to purchases but my account was deemed a risk for the community and therefore suspended.

The only thing I can think of is that eBay doesn't like me sending orders to a different address every time :noidea: I honestly don't know why eBay has a problem with getting paid by high volume buyers. I've been using guest checkout now but need a new buyer account to set up an affiliate account with eBay.

Any help on how to set up a new account would be appreciated.

You asked the question and answered it.
the type of activity you exhibited is frowned upon - specifically the dropshipping aspect of it. hence your accts got and will continue getting suspended.
I doubt theres anything anyone here can do to assist with that.

You have to use your own address to receive the item

this is because you are using cheaper prices on ebay to sell to buyers on other sites , most likely on amazon. this benefits amazon and takes buyers away from ebay so that it is eventually a losing business for ebay

Yes and I think it's ridiculous, they are losing legitimate sales because of antiquated policies. Why does eBay care if I resell the item or not. They allow wholesale dropshipping onto the platform but not off of it. Oh well!

Yes I considered it, but the whole reason I'm dropshipping is not to handle inventory. Not to mention it doubles the cost of shipping if I ship it to myself.

I have never understood why buyers are restricted. These are additional sales. Who gets them - they shouldn't worry)))

ebay have been suspending buyers for years , especially this may happen if commercial activity is involved

for example you could have an active seller account with paypal until recently and set up a buyer account to use the funds to buy on ebay with same paypal , ebay would just suspend the buyer account

Ebay does not want her business,Ebay owns the venue.
