UK eBay account suspended. Credit check??
 

Hi guys,
Old account banned from a couple of years back, I recently tried to set up a new business account, not stealth, all kosher.
Used fresh user account on computer, new IP/VPN, new bank account registered to new address, new phone number etc etc....
Account suspended within days.
Can't work out how then was thinking do they do credit checks? Could for sure link to old address if they did? Any opinions or ideas how to get around this?

What did you use for your VPN and did you list on the account before it was suspended?

Used proxy-n-vpn which works fine for me with other accounts, didn't list anything before suspension, was in the process of sending ID/bank proof in but it got suspended(permanently) before i could....

Or electoral roll etc? If i'm not on the electoral role at the address could it cause an issue? Know anyone thats managed to appeal successfully? Is there even an option to appeal?

Did you contact customer services ?

Was it a security related ban ? if it was it's that ****ty VPN. Flippin hate VPNs. Use your mobile phone hotspot.

I'd hotspot to begin then move to a dedicated private IP. Had a sim that would revert back to a previously used IP which got my accounts linked and suspended on 2 different sites.

The specific mobile ISP would randomly change IPs with every page load and every now and then reload a previously used IP instead of loading more fresh ips from the pool. I used the same sim on previously banned accounts so they got linked eventually.

Guys still need to know if they would do a credit check (soft or hard) on opening up new business account.....if so surely thats the link? Old addresses coming up on credit check? Other accounts still working good on IP's from same company....
