Ebay suspends now with NO REASON
 

So, my main acct was suspended recently. There is no reason given except that my activity was a risk to the ebay community. I bought the stealth guide many years ago. What has changed? What cookies are they tracking? Adobe Flash is dead so..where are these flash cookies now? I heard there are other types of cookies...?

Can be anything but most likely related to kinds of items listed, how fast / many items listed etc. In the old days a surefire way to get immediate suspension was to list items with one paypal payment address then batch change the payment address to another - instant ban. Ebay uses this to describe many reasons unfortunately

You only have 1 account or have multiple?

How old is the account, type of items and has your activity changed?

It was a decade old account i had abandoned. Appealed and i was happy to have it back. I went through managed payments with different info (real). I listed my first item which is a high electronic. What started happening immediately was i got an email stating they helped secure my account. Ebay system thought someone was hacking it. I was suspended again but brought back to life. So i listed the same item. Then again..this time they said someone signed on from Panama..i was just reading here and someone said Nordvpn is in PANAMA! Which is the vpn i was using with a dedicated ip. I chatted several times with them until finally they said they said try to appeal and upload your docs here…the link at the end said, “FRAUD”. The only hint at my reason for being suspended.

and in what right mind did you decide to use nordvpn? The worst piece of **** and sorry excuse for a VPN? You've been here for almost as long as I have you know better.

I'd switch to residential IP ipburger.

But at this point, you just need to do everything you can to get that account back. I really hope you can.

accounts not used for a long time is the same as a new account so you should never do anything there you would not risk doing on a brandnew account

Yeah ive been here a while but not dealing with suspensions. I use the ebay app mostly, i know there is a whole thread on ppl who hate it and i cant see myself doing any listing without it. Its the best way for my items/business. I have a new phone/sim coming in. Now its the wifi i use i will need to hide..nordvpn has the nice app that works well. Why is it so crappy?

Between using NordVPN and listing your first item as a high risk one (even on an older acct - its considered new to selling at this point) you didnt realy stand a chance. This is nothing new.
And Nordvpn is crappy cause their service is used and abused and their IPs are mostly blacklisted by services like ebay and paypal.

Slokor, thanks for chiming in. Always hold your input in high regard. What do you recommend as vpn? Ipburger? And as far as using the ebay app..new phone/sim should have me covered. Final thoughts?

New phone, new sim and you're okay to use the app. Indeed, why not use the phone as your internet access and forget V.P.Ns all together.

Just dont use the ebay app across multiple accounts - if you operate multiple accounts
