There is no threshold. Whether you get suspended or not depends on your selling practices.

Whatever makes you feel comfortable. As long as you show slow gradual growth there is no reason to limit yourself to any $ amount.

I wouldn't bank on the docs.

MC011 is usually triggered by getting your funds investigated. Try not to go over $1000 in your combined funds (Holds, Available, Processing)

Try to stay around $500 if possible at any given time, until they pay you the funds. (But I think as high as $800 is ok)

Also, I was talking to another seller, for virtual goods (marking as shipped with no tracking)

If you sell virtual items, ALWAYS include a tracking #. Even if it's bogus.
Edit (This might only apply if you are going over the $800 - $1000 threshold)

USPS would be the easiest,

95055123037212568344 - For exmaple is the length of a USPS tracking #. Copy this and edit some of the numbers for each order. You can also input bulk shipping at the end of your day of selling.

More context on my conversation with another seller;

They made over $3000 this weekend and what they did differently was putting in tracking #'s. They most definitely would of been investigated if they just marked items as shipped without tracking #. I believe this is a good way to not get triggered by the bot.

I had 2 accounts last month (different times) get funds reviewed because I didn't input tracking. And both times were around $1000 - $1200 when it happened in my funds available combined.

My account last year that aged only 4 months was able to pull over 30k per month with no problems. I had issues with shipping though which was my fault that caused an eventual suspension.

It varied. From my own experience if you ever surpass $5000 on any given day you get flagged and put into a manual review. Thats one threshold you always want to stay below, IMO.
