eBay account was suspended years ago
 

Ebay account was suspended years ago I would say 10 years ago, is there a way to go about and get it reinstated ? If yes can someone point in right direction please ?

You can just create new account with same details. Will be all good. MP actually granted everyone a kind of amnistion - they now follow Ayden banning requests, and Ayden has no clue about you being banned 10 yrs ago as they do not have your docs.

I'm in the same boat here. I have two old accounts suspended 9 and 8 years ago (mine and my wife's). Can I use those accounts accounts again? (they were both high limits and over 10,000 feedback). Both were cancelled due to bad metrics (my fault I know, I've learned my lesson now). Or create new ones with the real name and address? IP, bank accounts and credit cards would be different.

Those accounts wouldn't be automatically reinstated I think

I think you should call ebay support and explain the situation and they will be able to help you

If the person has time to burn, sure - worth a shot but not 100% sure there is always a good result.

After suspension, I've registered on ebay a few times with success. I'm currently suspended but using stealth accounts. I'll give it a few months and register again with my original details.
I'm happy to keep playing that game until they start suspending me almost immediately or it is no longer viable.

You mean if I was banned 8 years ago I can just make a new account no problem with all the same info, thanks to MP? Really?

So here's my scenario -

Banned 8 years ago. Been using a stealth account on my home IP (say, IP #1) since then that I purchased with all unreal info, which is now up for MP so it needs to be abandoned. I have a second account I've used since being banned for purchases only. That one is on a different IP (say, IP #2). It has my real name and address, and bank info. I buy stuff on that one all the time.

If I create a new account on the same IP #1 as my stealth, with info that matches my buyer only account, will they connect all that and ban me? Can I have two accounts at the same mailing address, name, and banking info as my post-ban buyer account?

I hope that all made sense...

Buyer accounts that are linked still seem to go along ok with being banned by eb in general.

Why were you banned 8 years ago?
