I'm back :bounce:

I made about $3300 on a new ebay (sisters account) and they restricted it. What's the best way to give receipts for virtual goods if any at all?

All sales were pure profit and virtual game items.

You can't provide any acceptable invoices, they're simply paying you procedural lips service, the account is dead.

Have they released the funds yet? If not you might not even get that either.

They asked for ID/bill/invoice. It was in my sisters name, sent those in and explained what I sold are virtual showing game images. Will update later when I get a response.

$3200 on the account..

Took roughly exactly 72 hours for a response,

Accepted the ID & Utility bill, but they are re-asking for invoices.

I explained it was all virtual, and supplied feedback snapshots.

Explained I didn't know the ebay rules until now, and apologised.

Will update hopefully in 1-3 days.

The re-asking is worrisome but if you are lucky, you might have a sympathetic manual reviewer - virtual game items do seem to lead to unfavourable outcomes :(

Please keep us updated, I got the same restriction due to selling software keys. I told I bought them on social media and forums from people that don't need them anymore but they still restricted me. as for invoices, they don't matter unless your prices are similar to the official ones and even then they might ask for reselling authorization...

Yeah, well, they're sold on forums and social media especially on telegram, Of course mine were from keygens, others just preactivated software. there is no way in hell they would accept any invoices with that price even legit ones.
So yeah, I told them, I bought them from social media and didn't know that was not allowed on ebay. do you have a better excuse?

Indefinitely restricted and funds are held for 60 days. eBay hates me ��

eb does not hate you, generally hates the digital delivery items always,
Slim chances to win with eb when digital items involved,

Anyway you tried your best,

I guess just move on, if you start selling on ebay again, don’t sell digital delivery items, try selling physical items, long journey but worth it at the end,

Does it say now in Payments summary "You have no funds available for payout" (meaning they'll be released in 60 days) and that before it used to say "No payout is scheduled"?

you should have tried to send an invoice, no matter how little sense it makes.
for example you are selling a virtual Sword which you farmed, you could send them an invoice from the game company that you purchased the sword.

I am aware that most items purchased from the store in those games cant be traded, but you need to give them what they want to see. they are not gaming experts so they do not know what is possible and what not.
