Ebay account suspending after 1 year with no reason
 

I've been having a couple of ebay accounts that suspend indefinitely with no reason provided after about 1 year and like 5k annual sales.

It just says we've looked over your account and want to make ebay a safe place.

What could be with this. Keep in mind I haven't edited any listings in months either.

too many possibilities, but if suddenly a lot of your accounts were banned at the same time after 1 year, i'd guess there was a link at some point

That's really random. Since you didn't give any details about your accounts or how you use them it's hard to say.

Could be something you completely didn't realize you did too

So it's not at the same time they suspended or anything I created them like 3-6 months apart and they tend to ban at around 1 year or so with that message of we need to keep ebay safe.

I don't edit any listings or create any more listings. I will say though they banned within 1-2 months after I had to provide real ssn, so maybe that's it. Just wondering anyone else getting this generic ban message saying we need to keep ebay safe?

Its not the same time, but I'd say like 8 months to 1 year they last all at different times. all seperate creation info and ip.

It's the same generic message of we need to keep ebay safe and decided to remove your listings, suspended indefinitely. And what's strange is I do not add any listings at all after like the first month of creating the account, they were kept like that for months.
However I will say all of them ban within 1 month or so of adding the full ssn after it's requested. So not sure if that's playing into it but it's real info from friends and family.

How were you managing them? Did you share cookies between the logins? Or login in with same IP? What were you selling? Did you get MC999 Suspension?

No nothing all seperate, they suspended wayyy apart from one another so I know they aren't linked and no mc999 or mc anything. Just we look to keep ebay safe and have decided.

just happened to me as well - no ryme or reason. Called and said it cannot be appealed

this kind of ban is really around in these days. What kind of items were you selling? If you can say

It happens during this time a lot. Having strong accounts is important.

That generic email I have gotten them years ago, not recently.

Honestly it could be anything as they never disclose a real reason.

happened to me to 3 accounts in the last 30 days, no reasons given. Old accounts with thousands of sales

some crazy **** is going on there.... mad integration with Adyen, they ruined tons of accounts without any reason.

I guess it is about your register information. eBay start to suspend suspicious old accounts this year. I lost more than ten accounts with thousands feedbacks

Been here since day 1 and have to agree something is going on.
