MC011 / Acc reinstated but w/ Category ban
 

Hello guys.

I am new here and I apologize any mistake made.

I used to sell digital items on the category video games. Never had a problem doing that. I did for almost 2y (became a seller in 2019). My account was made in 2011 and I got the restriction in Oct. 2021.

I started this business alone and never had a single issue and I admit that I was totally inocent and ingenue w/ everything. I finally learned everything about suspensions, restrictions etc after going through this situation (too bad for me).

I had an family issue back in Oct 2021 which made impossible to dispatch/deal orders during one weekend. I had around 120 orders and growning. I have left many w/ shipping overdue (this was because I poorly choosed to mark shipped ONLY after a successful delivery. (otherwise would be cancelled after few days). Since they were digital I never shipped anything. Just delivered or cancelled because the buyer never replied me or showed up to receive it. I was selling items to be delivered inside games.

That said I received the MC011 e-mail asking for my ID, Tracking No. and Suppliers. Well, like I said, I was completely ingenue and told them about my products, how they were delivered, that I had no supplier nor tracking, but I had around 11.000 positive feedbacks, 1 neutral and 2 negatives at that time. I only sent my ID and wrote about eBay accept feedbacks as proof of delivery.

After few days they reinstated my account but I wouldn't be able to sell in the Videogame Category anymore. Talked to them a lot after that but everything was unsuccesful. Has been 4 months now and they still don't want to allow me to sell there again. Had 3 attempts to make different account using my bro and 2 friends details and the account got suspended aswell. After the third suspension I finally discover that eBay was tracking my device/IP (all the infos were different but not the IP and left cookies too).

Anyway, not sure if I was able to make my situation clear. I will gladly share more informations if someone need. I kindly ask that no one judge my actions because at this point I am completely aware about the mess I made.

All I ask now is if I have a small chance to sell under the Videogame Category again. Why? Because I do need to get back to my business since the product wasn't a problem. They told me to list in other Category and I did but the sales dropped like 90% even w/ 700 listings active.

It seems eBay doesn't really care about unless you do something wrong while selling your stuff (maybe I am wrong). I've been following few sellers that were selling the same stuff before me and they are still doing the same business even though I was banned to sell those items.

Sadly, this issue is very difficult to get past and eb has heard it all. You are probably not going to get reinstated - you should consider building other accounts

Oh damn. Well, I can't say that I was expecting for a positive answer. It seems very difficult to deal w/ this situation.

It's rough but yes, sadly very tough to get that reinstatement. You can keep trying and hopeing but with realizing the stealth principles, you should get backup accounts going pronto

I learned that alot of cancellations and no tracking numbers will definitely get you mc011

Yes, I've heard similar thing, but I do not cancel orders unless the item cannot be delivered. Most of the times buyers didn't know how to reach out (there's a lot of people that doesn't know how to reply a message nor contact seller).

Anyway, it seems a dead end. Best thing is move out and leave eBay behind. Stealth Accounts seems to be an option, however I am not sure if I am willing to take chances building a business to get it destroyed after few months/years.

Create multiple stealths and build it up to spread your sales.

Valid concern but stealth works for many people here
