New Account With Mom's Information?
 

Hello,

Could I use my mom's information to create a new eBay account? I, my dad, and my brother all have separate accounts tied to the same address. My mom have never opened an ebay account before, and they don't have her SSN on file. The annoying thing is having to deal with taxes going to her instead of me. I know LLCs and S-Corps are options but how likely would it be for eBay to find my name attached to them?

I will move to a new address soon and could purchase a brand new device that hasn't touched eBay or PayPal.

A year ago I had a large account (100k+) in sales that year. There's no possible way of getting unbanned and eBay said it was permanent and could not be appealed.

I really want a robust solution where I don't have to manage multiple stealth accounts of have accounts with high risks of being banned. Real information and people would be preferred, I've even considered paying my friends to let me use their accounts and then accessing it with the new address and device.

Advice is really appreciated, I've read a lot but it can be all over the place.:redface:

Yea you can, but I have to warn you to do it correctly, otherwise you'll all get linked.

The stealth guide can help you with this. And I also recommend you try making a few accounts first on your own before actually use her's.

make mistakes, do trial and error, master the ways then onc you know. go for it.

Great advice - Practice w/burner accounts!

I'm in the exact situation. Looking into LLC, S-Corp, etc. From what I've read on various threads here, the S Corp is the way to go so Mom doesn't get hit with the 1099. Will an LLC work also? What's Best? TIA

If you don’t know how to get back on eBay without being linked to your suspended account don’t use her info yet. You don’t want to waste it by making a mistake and getting suspended. Learn as much as you can about how eBay links accounts. Once you learn how to not get linked. Then learn how to properly set up a account. Then after all of that.. open a account with her info

well not "burner" accounts... have the mindset of actually making your own accounts. Don't just abuse it.

Yes, I think I would want multiple accounts for peace of mind. I've been banned for over a year so I definitely want to do things the safe route.

Good call. Every one here who are successful has more than 1 account.... 10+ for sure
