eBay acc under review because I uploaded too many items
 

Has anyone got banned for uploading too many items at once? I have a warehouse full of items and pretty much for the first few months of ebay sold low amount of items but consistently sold, I recently asked for a seller limit upgrade and they granted me it

Then I uploaded like 40 new items, worth around $10,000, and now my account is under review for 5 days, has anyone got banned or has anyone passed this review that they do? im worried since this is my only account and I wont be able to make another most likely

Whatever happens just happens… we can’t change it LOL. But use that as a lesson learned and not to list that many next time.

But what I can say is. It depends on your selling record, items your listing.

If you have lots of returns, disputes, late shipping and listing/selling risky items then account may get mc011 or suspended.

If you have a perfect selling record, no cases, always shipping on time and selling low risk and sometimes high risk then account will pass the review no problems.

But it’s all in eBay hands we can’t tell you exactly what’s going to happen

OP, are your listings a big change in your normal selling volume/amount of $?

in general it is a bad idea to significantly increase listings and sales within a short period of time. it is the same issue as with paypal , they see you start selling more and you get a review with possible restriction , on ebay additionally this may be triggered by just listing more

Do you mean your payouts are on hold for 5 days or your entire account is on hold? it's not as much of the amount of listings you listed because 40 listings isnt much but the fact that they average each $250.

Is this the first time you uploaded this many? Hence you went from listing $100 value and jumped up to $10k all of a sudden?

I got 2 consequent reviews , 1 week apart. Thank god everything was okay. It’s due to not shipping orders on time. Always lagging like 70+ orders.

Yes very frequently. That’s why I do not suggest to ever do that if you don’t want to get in trouble.
