Stealth accounts keep getting shut down after 1 day
 

Hey everyone,

Not new to stealth, been unfortunately having to deal with this for years now. I've been creating new eBay accounts successfully, both business and personal, but they tend to only last a day or so. Yesterday I had one last about 2 days but I went to buy something and after I checked out it got suspended, I think maybe it was because I used a PayPal that may be linked to a suspended account..

Anyway, is anyone else experiencing the same thing? Even if I open the account and dont touch it. Or open it and look around and watch some items and such. Or if I list some items. They always give me about a day then suspend me because "They feel I pose a risk to the community".

Any tips here?

So here is what I have been trying out:

-Variations of my home address (adding things like back door/side door have actually worked for me. But I am also using my work address now and some others I have)
-Name: Same thing, variations
-CC/Bank - I have many to burn
-Computer - Macbook, each account has its own user on the computer, I am using Firefox as my browser for each user.
-Phone - Was using textnow which wasn't working and flagging me, then I was using my actual cells which were clean, now I am using PVAPins.
-Using EIN but I still have to provide last 4 of my SSN and DOB, so that is where I am getting linked I am sure...

What about your IP? PVApins? Are you serious ? And then you wonder why you get shut down?

It’s your Ip and phone number your issue, you need to use real mobile numbers with mobile ip etc

Sorry forgot to mention IP address - I am using mobile tethering to get a new IP each time.

Okay started a new account today using a completely different address (no variations) so lets see if it is that.

I think you are right though about the phone thing - what is the best way nowadays to do it? This time around I used SMSAnon.

Edit: Also this time around when I listed my first item I got a message saying they couldn't verify my identity. I had to contact customer service and they removed the lbock, but never asked me any questions to verify my identity or anything, they just removed it.

I can only repeat what the others have said, using these (free) online SMS services is almost guaranteed to get your account closed at some point.

You've been told the best option, a proper mobile phone number....and use it to start preparing your next account and the ID which will almost certainly be required too. Have you got your tax info in place in you're in the US for when they ask for that too should you make some sales?

Your account creation is for the old days with eBay and PayPal it’s all changed now.

You shouldn’t be using variations of names and addresses now it’s red flag it works for PayPal but not for eBay managed payments. You need real name, real address and real date of birth. Friends/family members info.

New user account and Firefox is fine.

Not sure about EIN or phone number as I’m from U.K. and use different SIM cards and EIN not used in the U.K. but definitely need to make sure your using real info and not variations of names and address.
