i think i ****ed up
 

so i had my personal ebay account restricted and suspended indefinitely about 10 months ago. i moved to a new country and i opened a business account under my girlfriends name. we are splitting the profits and everything is in her name. she has had an eBay account for many years no issues shes straight edge and has little selling history but has sold some things. anyways when i got suspended on both my accounts for drop shipping she used we shared the same IP address so i was worried that because we lived together her account would get banned. that never happened so i stopped selling and she held on to her eBay account no issues. 8 months later we moved to a new country and we open the business account under her name and with the LLC setup. I have no ties to her legally we she has her own address for the LLC same state as my old account same city nothing else can link us together we are very private in that sense. so today my idiot ass logs in to my restricted account on my old device and after about 30 seconds i realized this and signed out. our new business account is on a Chromebook that has the has been wiped cleaned but both devices share the same ip address. will that single 30 second log in to my banned account fry her account? again different device different browser. my other account was banned 8 months ago in a different country so could they link just because of that short loggin? please help im freaking out here we have spent a ton of time setting this up and now im going nuts

please if any 1 has any real knowledge of this help out i would greatly appreciate it so i dont keep listing and wasting money

1 time mistake is low chance of causing issue - avoid repeating and only time will tell. I wouldn't worry too much

time will tell? wouldn't they suspend or restrict me right away? i am scheduled to receive a payout tomorrow.

If they haven't suspended right away, you should be alright to receive your payout...

Thanks for the replies , so as of today all is good i have had a couple of payouts and it appears that i am out of ebay jail because i have passed the 25 transactions and 250$ in sales and my sales are coming in steady. this is a legit aged account and we plan on do things by the book but i will start a stealth account soon i have to get the stealth guide so i can be more at ease but i will NEVER log into my old ebay again

We have been selling small items and then we made the mistake of listing some higher end items that sold and thus it raised our sales and triggered this. the account is not stealth real docs and we have been shipping about 90% of the items ourselves using ebays labels . so we just buy shipping from them directly and ship it out so no dropshipping but we still got this review . its been now a little over 24 hours and still no word from ebay starting to get worried here.

does anyone have an idea what they check for in these types of periodic reviews? Is this something where they might check for linked accounts or ask for docs? will they ask for invoices even though we ship with ebay labels and most of our items are small grocery items or home decor stuff that we ship ourselves? i have about 95 orders in the 45 days we have had the account and we have shipped all but 2 orders ourselves using ebay labels.

Been through those reviews on pretty much all of my accounts and within a week it goes back to normal without any additional message. You will be fine.

no word yet today is day 5 no payouts red banner is still there . Very frustrating 5 days without funds and business is being held up i have 2 orders over 500$ i refuse to ship but i have kept selling smaller items and shipping those. I believe 1 am today is day 5 so im hoping this does not extend further.

All you can do is wait at this point.

This should also tell you to neer max out your cashflow especially on 1 account.

The one thing I worry right now is your unfulfilled order of $500.
There's a certain deadline that you have to ship right? So if you pass that deadline their metric will count that.

performance review is put on accounts with increased risk , especially those selling higher value items

a part of sellers put under such review are restricted from selling indefinitely. it is a small portion which are considered too high risk. presumably this happens to those who make a lot of turnover without support by regular selling history and/or with disproportionate values in performance/disputes/complaints etc.

basically it is the same thing that regularly happens on paypal with limitations. the only difference is that on ebay MP they usually do not make an immediate decision and do not request any docs

recieved an mc011 today right after we got the 5 day hold lifted and they are asking for tracking numbers even though i used ebay labels for all but 2 orders???We only sold 3 high value items arcade cabinets and even those we were shipping ourselves using ebays own labels. i literally only dropshipped 1 order about two weeks ago and that order was delivered with no issues as far as i know. Could that have caused this? Could they have linked my old account? Do i reply to their email? they want me to upload tracking but like i said i used ebay lables and the tracking is there for them to see!

We were selling candy and household items like christmas decorations and some home arcades as well.

such a restriction usually occurs if there are too many disputes or if the turnover is too high comparing to recent selling history

in this case it is best to provide all required documents , if any items have not been delivered yet wait until they are and it is also better to contact buyers and ask to leave feedbacks

yes sold about 5800$ in less than 2 months mostly candy using ebay labels and 3 arcades over 600$. Used ebay labels for all but 1 transaction which was shipped directly with the supplier and delivered shortly thereafter. All orders have been delivered and feedback is all positive but i only have 37 i will contact customers for more. We have been in touch with ebay a few times they asked for docs (all legit) they asked for tracking numbers even though we bought labels through ebay. Metrics were good had about 2 late shipments but no complaints from customers we actually had issues with Hurricane Ian that slowed down our process. Why MC011 is this not a dropshipping violation? They did not mention dropship in their email though so its weird. We contacted our customers and let them know we had some issues with the account and gave them an option to cancel so they did not have to wait and we canceled the ones that wanted to cancel. We submitted ID docs, receipts, tracking and now we are just awiting the dreaded suspension email so i have little hope this goes well.

after turning in all docs and receipts we got the account back and is now reinstated. I thought we were done for sure but i guess we lucked out. Anyone have any advice now on how to fly under the radar even though this account is 100% legit and we dont dropship? i wanted to dropship the heavy bulk items but now im scared to even list anything over 100$
