Ebay International Verification
 

I have a co-worker in India currently and I was thinking about opening a stealth account over there just in case. I asked him to do the ebay verification so he could tell me what it entails and he was saying basically just the phone verification but when he tried to get it to verify his phone ebay never called. I told him that this sometimes happens in the USA if you've already used that number on another account but he's never opened an ebay account. I then said create another account with a different number and the same thing happened..ebay never called. Does ebay call VOIP lines? Are there any other verification methods that have to be done to sell internationally to the USA?

all I know is ebay call me on voip but I think you should redirect it to a landline not try and take call off softfone or cell redirection.

India may be different though, with regards to voip, its a voip based in India right? plus never use a number used on another account unless it is/was in good standing and in the same details.

yes correct, it's a phone number based in India. I was talking with somebody thats from the Philippines and it's odd because in their ebay registration they verification methods are by credit card or SMS text message. There's no option to verify by calling which is really odd. They said they couldn't find the option to ship worldwide so I wonder if their items even get sold to outside countries such as USA, UK, and Canada?
