Do ein made accounts require ssn and id after you hit a certain amount in sales?
 

What to do if ebay asks a business account running off an ein for a ssn or better yet an ID? I know that often on my main account I'd sell 17k and 8k and 8k and than I'd get a verification. Check. But that was on a ssn account business setup.

For business accounts initially you will be asked for last 4 of ssn & dob
They may ask for 9 digits later on
They may also ask for id (on 2 business accounts they asked me)

You are required to enter business owners name, last four of SS and date of birth. You can assume they will need all details at some point, especially with all these new laws.

This one in particular. We had a few accounts request ID this past week because of this new regulation with a due date April 19th.

You thought making accounts was bad now, so for any account if you plan to operate id will be requesting and verified against the account.

I'm going to keep it basic new phone new id..new account buy first 20 purchases wait and sell 2o small items and than after 90 days and 20 feedback start racking quick 90 days or 20 items is the probationary period and ids and ssn are dime a dozen. The only thing that trips me up is banking do I add my bank account after their account and switch to default or can I use my account from the gate? I'm surprised the name mismatch doesn't matter could say the name is a business account...lol...???

Did you get a MC099? Is that how it was asked?

How do you handle the SS requirement? Even EIN business accounts require a real SS, DOB.....etc.

Bank never mattered and most likely never will.
