eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums

Many years ago I bought an account from a seller not from this forum, I did not change the log in password on eBay or PayPal or the email straight away and he stole the accounts back. If you have done all this they should not be able to get the account back, what concerns me is if they supplied a SSN then that breaks Federal law and did they also supply you with a bank account as you stated you did not change that?

They can probably look up the account via ebay id? Right

But changing ebay id usually flags account right?

Talking hypothetically for the record. If they ask for mc011 i will let them suspend account and collect remaining funds and go to next account.

You are keeping their SSN,?are you sure it is their SSN ,not someone else.
If that SSN holder owes IRS money,IRS would come and seize it from your MP/PAYPAL account

they can not get the account back since they do not have access to email and phone

the worst case scenario is a suspension if ebay think it was hijacked

I recall there is a case on ETSY,the seller manages to hack into the account and emptied the $$,cant recall all the details,mabe the bank account belonged to the seller.

On my original account i got ID verification every 6 months. They claimed that "they dont save the physical photos sent in** of the id . Considering the amount of money being handled it didnt bother me cause it was all legal. How ever this ban thing is making things difficult and im just wondering now that i have the owners id and permision . If they change their mind and want to take back control of their account if they can find the account via ssn or name or db...or the reps need the number or email...i know they can find it via ebay name id but changing that might flag the whole account ��
