Re: Advice on 50 000 prods and 500 000 $ account
There are sellers who sell antique timepieces(watches and pocket watches )on ebay, some have their own physical stores.
One was scammed when the buyer returned an empty box ,it called the police and open the package ,found it to be empty and filed a police report.
But Ebay expected it to refund and take it up with the insurer, unfortunately it did not insure the return and Fed exp implied jewelry insurance max is $1k,the watch is worth $47K.
Another seller was scammed when the buyer used his account for digital orders and have no shipping address, but add in comment section of his Paypal payment email with a ship to address.
The seller shipped to that address, buyer filed INR and won,as tracking is meaning less when his Paypal ship to address does not exist,it is a $45K watch.
Ebay also have a program where it would guarantee the authenticity of high end watches,I dont know if it is still available
