Uptick of scammers on egay
 

Hey all, just checking to see if I am the only one noticing an uptick in egay scam sellers. I purchased two items within the last month which never shipped, no seller response. They upload a tracking number but never drop it to post office. Of course egay refunds your money eventually, after the song and dance of waiting for the estimated delivery date to pass and opening a case. I know the economy is crap, but certainly these scam sellers know they can't get away with it - what is there to gain?

The worst is the Chinese sellers where you know what they are selling is too good to be true. I did a test purchase for a GoPro item which was half the price, I knew it to be a scam, the seller had good feedback but this item was hard to buy in the west and here they were selling it half price.

As it’s in China their delivery time on eBay is into weeks until you can make your claim which I did after 3 weeks, by this time a number of negative feedback started to appear, so it looked like eBay took the hit on a number of purchases on an established account.

how did the GoPro work in the end? any good at all?
