eBay account permanently suspended with all my funds - please help.
 

Hello! I woke up today with a wonderful email from eBay stating my account that i have been using to sell stuff for over 5 years, with over 300 reviews, and a 100% feedback rating has been suspended because of "activity that they believe was putting the eBay community at risk" and that's it. I contacted CS twice via phone and both of the people I talked to were completely useless, and wouldn't give me any information besides "your account was permanently suspended, therefor there is nothing we can do", classic eBay :doh: !

I normally wouldn't care about the suspension, but my account had $1300 in funds ready to withdraw, had i known i would be suspended for no reasoning at all, these wouldn't have been in my account. Is there any way i can get these funds out of the account despite it being suspended? I have come here wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, and how it turned out for you.

TLDR; my eBay account was suspended with $1300 in funds, how can i get them despite being suspended?

At least your suspended and not restricted. That means you will definitely get the money. Contacting them wont help its 30-60 days . if you contact them to much they will ask you for documents just to give you something to do.

After 60 to 72 days the money will be placed into your bank account,

Yeah bro, I got the hammer on an almost 10 year old account with over 1k feedback. They said the same thing :/ Happened because I had went from like $500-1000 in monthly sales to a few thousand and I guess it out flags your account and if eBay for whatever reason doesn't like what you're doing, your gone.

yea because their is to many people who build up feedback and trust , then once they run out of stuff to sell they list a bunch of expensive stuff that they dont have, get paid and then vanish.

Oldest scam in the book and precisely why eBay must remain vigilant or honest sellers lose buyers to sell too as they don't trust the platform

If you put down your bank account as the funding for fees then they will try and take monies owed, if you do not have the account done to pay invoices, they can not take the money out.

Yobar eBay are obligated to return funds in the USA, the OP has not stated that the account is stealth, eBay has just made a decision to suspend it and have to return it in 60 to 72 days.

Stop giving bad information and read the threads carefully before replying.
