mc011 reciepts. Has anyone figured something clever out?
 

What do you guys do for reciepts? Has any tried liquidators....auctions...storages and got away with it? I dont understand why hand written ones everytime you purchase aomething at a swap meet wont suffice? I know of a guy that runs a pawn shop and sell 2 million worth a year??? How is it he doesnt get the boot for not having reciepts???

Your best chance of passing this is it has to be from the supplier itself. So if you sell X brand, it needs be from them on the receipt. Yes, we all can shop at various places to obtain goods but these things don't matter, what matters is only how to pass the verification and this is the highest probable outcome. Everything else lowers your chances drastically.

receipts are asked for because of risk management , not to fulfil a legal obligation , hand written receipts do not have any meaning

in fact any receipts have limited meaning because they neither guarantee to be real nor do they mean you have these items even if they are real so that you can easily get a suspension / restriction with legitimate receipts

that is why it is important to have limited sales volume on an account and good metrics , especially the metric on cases closed by customer support should be 0 if you want to sell expensive items and metric on returned items should be very low . all this must be supported by feedback for expensive items

and of course on expensive items you must always provide tracking which shows timely despatch and delivery on all items

pwn shop has a physical presence,and licensed by state and city,has commercial bank accounts,bank reference and a store front bearing the name.

the fact that he has a bussiness with registration and tax info etc helps his cause

We only ever get part information from the thread starters, if it’s a new business account you can send in liquidators invoices that will suffice for eBay.
Now send the same invoice in for a personal seller account and you may get suspended as it indicates that you are business selling and not just a person clearing the house and garage out.

So better info when asking a question guarantees a more accurate response for the answer.
