US Ebay care about address?
 

I previously had an eBay account that I used to sell two MacBooks and various other items without any issues. However, my account was hacked, and the email associated with it was changed. I contacted eBay support and provided them with old emails showing my payment of fees, but they couldn't locate my account using my phone number or email. They advised me to create a new account.

Fortunately, I discovered that I had an unused account from 2020. To build some traction, I listed a $1 item and had a few friends purchase it for local pickup. I listed two main items and successfully made sales totaling $500.

Unfortunately, when I woke up today, I discovered that my account had been permanently suspended. eBay support informed me that I was banned due to being a risk, and they were unable to provide any further assistance.

If I get a new residential IP, use a different browser, new email, new phone, and new bank account with the same address, would I get banned? I used to use paypal stealths and it was completely aids especially to get paid so I’d rather go somewhat legit if possible. I don't believe I gave my SSN, but I did submit and verify my bank account. Can I use the same addy on a diff bank? I’m just selling legit stuff and need ebay.

basically could someone with completely new everything besides address and ssn make a new acct?

it is unlikely you get banned because of the address if the previous suspension was only for high risk

but if you start selling expensive items on a new account again you will be banned again

Welcome aboard.

I highly recommend you start with the stealth guide.
Get your basics down and really understand how things work, then use the form for more specialized questions and methods when you need it.

You can do a new stealth account, you do not need to do a residential IP address if you tether your cell phone, it will save you money and is just as good. Under MP you can use your SSN and address as PayPal is no longer an option.

How long should I wait? The guide doesn’t mention aging at all. I listed a random item for $10 and had a friend buy it after 1 day and I’m going to ship it to him. I really only need to list 2 products in the end, one for $240 and the other for $115. Should I keep listing more low items? I also ordered something for $10. Should I list items of increasing value? Any recommended time frame and or item sold # before going to $100?

I have a lot of experience with stealth’s on other platforms but those were much deeper. What Im doing on eBay is legit and only need to really list like 2-3 items for $100-$240. I bought the guide but it seems to be extremely outdated in terms of advice it’s all centered around Paypal which hasn’t been an option for a while now… Is there any advice about aging new accounts? Selling Items, Buying. Time frames etc

depends which other ip - not cheap or overused crap
