eBay payment account is restricted. A U.S. Court has directed eBay to freeze

I received an email from ebay about an item that caused my payouts restricted.
I listed that item using autods service (amazon to ebay)
Actually I stopped using that service 2 months ago and I haven't sold even one of that item.
Anybody faced that kind of situation?
What can I do?

This is the email I got. Previous that I got the item removed message which was not even active on my account.

Your payouts are currently on hold because your eBay payment account is restricted. A U.S. Court has directed eBay to freeze your account. Please reach out to plaintiff’s attorney at xx@xxxxxxxxx.com for more information and to resolve the matter.

eBay did not decide to freeze your account, it was ordered to do so by a judge. Please understand that eBay cannot release this freeze on your payouts until we receive instructions from the plaintiff’s attorney, or we receive a copy of a notice of dismissal or satisfaction of judgment that has been filed with the court. This matter must be resolved with plaintiff’s attorney or defended in court.. Plaintiff’s attorney can be contacted at the above email address. An attorney can explain to you how to defend the lawsuit in court.

If you have not heard from plaintiff’s attorney after 5 days, we will be happy to request they respond to you. If you need us to reach out, please contact VeRO@ebay.com.

if you did not sell that item, perhaps reach out to that e-mail address and try and clarify

That item is already gone when I stopped autods service 2 months ago.

Seen this before, according to a reddit thread that department is compromised. Did a google search and it came up with a thread on this forum:

Clearly they'll never get you in court and I bet nothing ever comes of it.
How you deal with your vero issue and fund release I do not know.

Do you think the Chinese have a connection in there?

The Chinese manufacturer will have researched before bringing a court case to the for IP violations. Are you on ANNEX A which lists the respondents.

If you are, then you certainly would have sold some as they will have done a controlled buy, they would have written to you through their agents to cease and desist selling the product, when they do not get any reply they will add you to the list and sue you.

The account with eBay is toast, if you have been selling that product then expect a very expensive law suit or to settle for a few grand. If you do the latter your account will then be released by eBay maybe.
