Suspended for selling PlayStation3 - electronic item
 

I listed a PS3 for $800 (buy it now) on ebay and a day later I was hit with the following ...

'Dear ________________,

Your eBay account has been suspended. eBay took this action after determining that your account was acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies.

You are prohibited from using eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account.

Any seller fees that are still owed are due to eBay immediately. eBay will charge any amounts that you have not previously disputed to the billing method that is currently on file.

This is really frustrating!

Yeah, love that "spirit of ebay" ambiguity statement.
I think high risk items are generally high theft and items that are regularily knocked off.

The account was nearly 1 month old with 4 positive feedback all 100%. Items purchased with that account were approx $1800 in total price. The feedbacks I received were for a PS3, a Camera, a Phone and a Car Gauge.

As for the PS3 ebay auction, I placed 6 pictures of the item with the official receipts including my username written on a piece of paper taken with the photo, how exactly could that be stolen?

I really do not get ebay at all ... why is it that out of the thousands of people that work for ebay, no one has actually slipped out the security measures that they utilise?

Thats little pricey for a PS3. There are plenty available for 499.00. I wonder if eBay removes listings for price gouging? (C City - $499)
